Why this exists

I kept buying business books with good intentions and a growing stack on my nightstand. Then I realized the books worth reading aren’t the ones on the bestseller lists — they’re the ones written by people who actually built something worth billions. The memoirs. The annual letters. The autobiographies nobody finishes.

So I started reading them. All of them. And I started noticing patterns — the same principles showing up across completely different people, industries, and decades. Walton and Buffett independently arriving at the same conclusion about hiring. Knight and Branson making the exact same mistake about cash flow. Dalio and Getty using near-identical language about adversity.

Billionaire Memo is what came out of all that reading. The insights that actually matter, pulled from the source material, presented with enough context to be useful — and enough opinion to be interesting.
