This site’s product is verifiable accuracy, so this page is written the same way as everything else here: specifically, and without the padding. It says what is actually collected, by what, and what is done with it.

Billionaire Memo is operated from Australia. The Privacy Act 1988 and the Spam Act 2003 apply. If you are reading from the EU or the UK, the GDPR applies to you; if from California, the CCPA does.

If you only read the site

Google Analytics 4 records that a page was viewed, roughly where from, which browser and device, and which link brought you. It is aggregate reporting, not an attempt to identify you, and nothing is sold or shared onward for advertising. A browser “Do Not Track” or an analytics blocker will stop it, and nothing on the site breaks if you use one.

Cloudflare serves the site and, as the host, sees the requests it delivers.

Book pages carry Amazon Associates links. If you follow one, Amazon may set its own cookies and knows you arrived from here. That relationship is disclosed on the pages themselves, because a commission is only disclosed where one is actually earned.

If you use the contact form

The name, email address and message you type are emailed to hello@billionairememo.com and forwarded to a personal inbox. Nothing is stored in a database.

Two anti-abuse measures touch your data briefly: Cloudflare Turnstile runs a bot check, and your IP address is held just long enough to enforce a limit of three submissions per minute. Neither is used for anything else.

If you subscribe to the newsletter

The list runs on Listmonk, self-hosted on hardware we control. It is not Mailchimp or Substack, and your address is not on a third-party marketing platform. Delivery is handled by Emailit, which necessarily sees the address in order to deliver to it.

The list is single opt-in: subscribing is the consent, and no confirmation email is sent. There is a one-click unsubscribe link in every email and it is honoured immediately.

Open and click tracking, stated plainly

This is the part most policies bury, so it gets its own heading.

Emails carry a tracking pixel, and opens and clicks are recorded against you individually — not anonymously. This has been the case since 27 July 2026. Three consequences worth being clear about:

1. It is linked to you, an identified subscriber, not to an anonymous count.
2. It is retained and rolled up over time into an engagement value stored on your subscriber record.
3. That value will determine whether you keep receiving email. Subscribers who never open anything eventually stop being mailed.

That third point is why “everyone does open tracking” is not a sufficient answer, and why this is written out rather than implied. If you would rather not be tracked, most email clients can block remote images, which stops the pixel — you will still receive every issue.

What is never done

• Your address is never sold, rented, traded or shared with another sender.
• You will never receive email you did not ask for. No purchased lists, no scraped addresses, no cold email — this is prohibited by our sending provider’s terms and by the Spam Act, and it is not something we would do regardless.
• There is no advertising on this site and no ad-tech embedded in it.

What you can ask for

Email hello@billionairememo.com to see what is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted. No form, no account, no justification required. Deletion means deletion — the row is removed, not flagged.
